Zimmermann comes from Sydney, where sisters Nicky and Simone founded it in 1991: printed dresses and beachwear made for a long summer. Marine Serre built everything around two things: the crescent moon printed all over, and the reuse of materials that already exist. Saint Laurent is for those who like restraint: ten years of Anthony Vaccarello have held a single sharp, metropolitan line.
